A Funeral Mass for Mary G. Hojnacki of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:00 AM Friday, January 14, 2011 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, with Reverend Stan Swiderski officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home.
Mary died Monday, January 10, 2011 at Baxter Regional Medical Center, at the age of 96. She was born September 1, 1914 in East Chicago, Indiana, the daughter of John and Agatha Furman Czapla. She married Thaddeus Hojnacki on August 3, 1932 at East Chicago, Indiana and was a homemaker. Mary lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since 1979 moving from Indiana. She was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church and was a very devout Catholic. She enjoyed bingo, playing cards, cooking, getting exercise and spending time with family and friends.
Mary is survived by 2 sons, Ted (Maryann) Hoyne of Gassville, AR and Donald (Betty) Hoyne of Demotte, IN; 1 daughter, Eileen Hoyne of Jacksonville, FL and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 4 sons, 1 sister and 3 brothers.
Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery. as pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to the St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church.
Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
