Mary Alice Holmes, 61, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, in Yellville, Arkansas. Mary was born on June 15, 1962, in Albany, New York, to Walter and Magdelen Shufelt Holmes. Mary enjoyed drawing and working puzzles.
Mary is survived by her father, Walt Holmes of Yellville, AR; brother, Kenneth Holmes of Mountain Home, AR; sister, Barbara (Frank) Swerda of Massachusetts; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by mother, Magdelen Joan Holmes; and three brothers, Chuck, David, and John.
Visitation will be Friday, November 3, 2023, from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home.
