Mary Emmaline King

A Funeral Service for Mary Emmaline King of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:00 am, Saturday, August 8, 2015, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Friday, August 7, 2015, from 5:00 until 8:00 pm, at the funeral home.

Mary passed away July 29, 2015, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 83. She was born May 19, 1932, in Montgomery, West Virginia, the daughter of Oscar and Avril Buster Vickers. She married Troy M. King, Sr. on January 22, 1951 at Montgomery, West Virginia and worked as a School Teacher for the Sauk Village School System in Illinois. Mary lived in Mountain Home since 1999, moving from Madison, Mississippi. She enjoyed knitting, bingo and her dog.

Mary is survived by her daughter-in-law, Mary A. (Kevin Moback) King of Lakeview, AR; son, Michael (Jill) King of Manteno, IL; brother, Hubert (Sandy) Vickers of Chicago Heights, IL; 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Troy King and Cliff King and one brother, Oscar Vickers.

Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or the Humane Society of North Central Arkansas.
