Memorial Services for Mary Jane Kretchman of Mountain Home will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Randy Ludwig officiating.
She died at Good Samaritan Village on June 29, 2011 at the age of 90. She was born June 8, 1921 at Akron, Ohio the daughter of Lawrence and Mary Young Toon. She married John Edward Kretchman at Seattle, Washington on December 22, 1942 and had been a resident of the Mountain Home area since moving from Wellington, Florida 7 years ago. She was a former secretary at Palatine High School in Illinois. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, a member of the Red Hat Society and Seeders and Cedars Garden Club. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, golf and church activities.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 brother, John, 2 sisters, Marjorie and Kathryn.
She is survived by a daughter, Judy (Warren) Brown of Mountain Home; grandson, Trevor (Heather) Brown and children Taylor, Piper and Colton of Palm City, Florida and a grandson, Ryan (Melanie) Brown of West Palm Beach, Florida.
