Mary Virginia Lehmkuhl of Mountain Home died November 22, 2013. She was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, May 29, 1913. The date of her memorial service has not been determined.
Mary and her husband George moved to Mountain Home from Minnesota in 1979. At the time of her death she was a resident of the Good Samaritan Society skilled nursing facility. During her time in Mountain Home, Mary was a member of the following organizations: Twin Lakes Playhouse, League of Women Voters, Mountain Home Woman's Club, Welcome Wagon Club, Chamber of Commerce, and needle craft groups. She was also an officer in some of these groups.
Mary was predeceased by her husband George in 2001.
She is survived by a sister Barbara of Fountain Lake, AR, a son James of Mountain Home, a son George and his wife Judy in Colorado, and a granddaughter Karin and her husband Tim and a great-granddaughter Ida in Alaska.
Mary liked to travel abroad and within the United States. She visited 85 countries. Mary was featured in an article celebrating her 100th birthday in The Baxter Bulletin May 29, 2013.
