Louise Matthews died Friday, July 4, 2008 at Baxter Regional Medical Center at the age of 74. Louise Matthews was born Thursday, July 20, 1933 in Sikeston, Missouri, daughter of Norval and Vida House Hornback. She married Reverend Nyman Matthews on March 22, 1953 at Sikeston, MO. She was a homemaker. Louise lived in Gamaliel for 30 years moving from Sikeston, Missouri. She was a member of New Life Bible Way Assembly Church in Gamaliel where she was the pianist. Survivors: Louise Matthews is survived by 2 Daughters, Sondra (Phil) Puckett of Sikeston, MO, Becky (Mike) Robbins of Mountain Home, AR, 4 Grandchildren Billy (Christie) Puckett, of Cape Girardeau, MO, Jamie Puckett, of Sikeston, MO, and Matthew Robbins, of Mountain Home. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents, husband,1 brother, 1 sister and 1 child. Visitation: Visitation will be from 5-8 P.M., Monday, July 7 at Kirby and Family Funeral Home in Mountain Home. Funeral: Graveside Services for Mary Louise Matthews of Gamaliel, AR, will be 3:00 pm Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at Dogwood Cemetery, Dogwood, MO, with Reverend Larry Davis officiating. Freinds are invited to come early between 2:00 and 3:00 pm. Burial: Burial will be in the Dogwood Cemetery, Dogwood, Missouri Active Bearers: Billy Puckett, Jamie Puckett, Mike Robbins, Phil Puckett and Johnny Bradley as pallbearers.
