A Graveside Service for Mary Ann Slaughter of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Friday, November 18, 2016, at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, with Reverend Denny Day officiating.
Mary Ann passed away November 9, 2016, in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 76. She was born January 6, 1940, in Jackson, Mississippi, the daughter of John and Grace Manchester Edwards. She married Bob Slaughter on December 27, 1966, in Dallas, Texas. They have lived in Mountain Home since 2002, moving from Dallas, Texas. Her strong faith in the Lord was the most important thing in her life and she is now in heaven with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her relationship with Christ manifested itself in the way she loved and helped her family and friends in any way she could. She was devoted to her husband and daughter and was always their biggest cheerleader. She worked at Nature's Way for 12 plus years and gave alot of herself in her job. She was loved by her customers and deeply respected by all who had the privilege of working with her.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband, Bob Slaughter of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Tamara Slaughter of Carrollton, TX; sister, Winnie (Don) Weaver of The Villages, Florida, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Gracie Claycombe.
Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery.
