Mary Watson

Catherine died Monday, March 16, 2009 in Mountain Home at the age of 87. She was born Thursday, April 7, 1921 in Greenwood, Arkansas, the daughter of Columbus Floyd and Luddie Rakestraw Chism. She was a former member of the Eastern Star and worked with the Rainbow Girls. Survivors: Catherine is survived by her 3 Daughters, Carole Loftin Moore of North Little Rock, AR, Jolana Loftin Collins of Mountain Home, AR and Johnnie Lou (David) Merkle of Mountain Home, AR, 1 brother, Orvil (Lenore) Chism of Detroit, MI, 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her husbands, Grady Loftin, Sonny Wall and Dub Watson, parents, 1 son, Grady Loftin, 1 daughter, Linda Barton, 7 sisters and 6 brothers. Visitation: Visitation will be from 5-8 P.M., Tuesday, March 17 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. Funeral: Funeral services for Mary Catherine Watson of Mountain Home, AR, will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Tim Decker and Reverend Jeremy Decker officiating. Burial: Burial will be in the Crittenden Memorial Park, West Memphis, Arkansas. Active Bearers: Drew Barnes, Eddie Fletcher, Wayne Atkinson, Kirby Brown, B.J. Moore, Dalton Alexander and Alan Loftin as pallbearers.
