Mary Louise Wells was born April 2, 1917 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Henry V. and Mary Emma McLendon Brinkley. She married Thurman (Red) Wells on December 21, 1979 in Lakeview, Arkansas. She was a housewife. Mrs. Wells Moved to Lakeview from Guatemala in 1959. She was a former resident of southern Arkansas. She and her husband owned the Western Auto Store in Lakeview for several years. Mrs. Wells enjoyed working in her yard and tending her flowers, she also enjoyed fishing, camping and anything that was outdoors. She was a member of the Midway Baptist Church. Mary Louise Wells passed away at Beverly Health Care on May 2, 2005, at the age of 88 years and 1 month. Survivors: Two sisters, Marie Wright of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, and Jewell Costa of Rison, Arkansas; brother, James Pitchford of Lakeview, Arkansas; daughter-in-law, Betty Matthews of Monticello, Arkansas; grandson, Henry Victor (Hank) Matthews Jr. and wife Diane of Fayetteville, Arkansas; granddaughter, Laura Gray Wilson and husband Jeff of Bentonville, Arkansas; five great-grandchildren, Joshua, Courtney, David, Daniel and Cheney, and several nieces and nephews Preceded in Death by: Parents, one son, Henry Victor (Vic) Matthews and one brother Visitation: 1:00 P.M. until service time, Wednesday, May 4, 2005 at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Funeral: 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 4, 2005 at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel in Bull Shoals, Arkansas, with Reverend Robert Moon officiating Burial: Newton Flat Cemetery, Bull Shoals
