Matthew H. Swabsky was born April 24, 1917 in Brockton, Mass. to Samuel and Marion Caro Swabsky. He married Blanche Sufert on October 15, 1941 at Chicago, Illinois. He worked in electronics with the United States Air Force for 25 years. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II and the Korean conflict. He moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas in 1974 from Melrose Park, Illinois and passed away at the Gassville Nursing Center on February 27, 2004 at the age of 86 years, 10 months, and 3 days.
