Maude Baltz

Maude Shull Baltz was born November 8, 1902 at Winona, Missouri the daughter of George and Minnie LaRue Shull. She married Merle Baltz at Pevely, Missouri on January 16, 1984 and had resided in the Mountain Home area since moving from Bonne Terre, Missouri in 1987. At the age of 20, Maude began her nurse?s training at Mellamphy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri and in 1928 she joined the nursing staff at the hospital at Bonne Terre, Missouri. She eventually became the Nursing Supervisor of the OB Division. After 34 years at the Bonne Terre Hospital, in 1962 Maude moved to St. Louis to be near her mother and sisters. There she spent the next 5 years working at Rankin & Jordan Home for Crippled Children, helping with about 20 boys and girls. Maude Shull Baltz entered into eternal rest at Mountain Home, Arkansas on June 20, 2006 at the age of 103 years, 7 months & 12 days. Survivors: Stepson: Dickey L.
