Maureen C. Hoggins died July 3, 2009 at her residence. She was born Thursday, November 20, 1930 in Witt, IL, daughter of Carl Samuel and Edythe M. Lant Graham. She married Thomas M. Hoggins on August 22, 1948 at Decatur, Illinois. She was a homemaker. Maureen lived in Midway for 22 years moving from Newton, IL. She was a member of the Hill -n- Hollow Quilter's Guild, American Legion Aux., the Audubon Society, Jasper County Historical and Geneological Society, and the 5 gallon club for donating blood to the American Red Cross. She enjoyed travel, especially her trip to Italy and cruising. Survivors: 2 Daughters; Pamela S. Hoggins of Denver, CO, and Ellen Smith, of Moab, UT, grandchildren; Mark Sapp, Michael Spencer, Sara Treston-Pastore, India Ward, Michael Bauer and Rachel Padilla, and 12 Great Grandchildren.
