Mr. Halleck was born May 12, 1922 at Wabash, Indiana the son of Lawrence and Wynona McFarland Halleck. He served with the Navy during World War II as an Aviation Metalsmith 3rd class stationed in Hawaii. He graduated from Linlawn High School in Wabash, Indiana in 1940 and was a member of East Side Baptist Church. He married Dorothy Bennett at the Weslyan Methodist Church in Wabash, Indiana on October 19, 1941. Dorothy passed away March 6, 2001 after 59 years of marriage. He was a welder for 30 years at Zollner Machine Works in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and was a licensed Minister in the Missionary Church and pastored at a Missionary Church in Riverdale, Illinois. He and his wife enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, archery and Bible Study with his adopted family. He and Dottie did a 3 week missionary trip in Haiti in 1974. Survivors: 1 brother, Marion (Beth) Halleck of Phoenix, Arizona; 2 sisters, Velora (Barney) Miller of Goodland, Indiana, Crystal ,Cris, (Albert) Roose of Green Valley, Arizona; His adopted family; Kris and Fred Polich of Bull Shoals, Candace ,Candy, and Kenneth Ziemer of Yellville, Lois Harrison of Wesleyville, Pennsylvania, the late Nancy Worden of Wesleyville, Pennsylvania, Geri Parisis-Vaughn of Phoenix, Arizona, Sherry Hutchinson of Bull Shoals; dear friends; Stanley and Vivian Albright, Clifford and Janet Batterbee, Sophie Campbell, Pat Caviness, Fran Trice and Elizabeth Van Horn Preceded in Death by: Parents and wife.
