Maxine DeMand, 95, a long time resident of Mountain Home, passed away September 24, 2016, at Hospice of the Ozarks - Hospice House. Maxine was born on May 7, 1921 at Hunter, Missouri to Roy and Lillie Webb and lived her young life at Ironton, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-seven years, John DeMand. Two sisters survive - Mabren Donnelly of Windsor, California and Audrey Steck of Gladstone, Missouri, also many nephews and one niece, and many grand nieces and nephews.
Maxine was a kind and generous lady of many talents. She was an excellent seamstress, a great cook, and a self taught horticulturist. Her greatest treasures were her many Mountain Home friends.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
