Maxine M. Fraser was born June 7, 1915 in Union County, Iowa. She was the daughter of Frank and Eliza Swanker Carl. She married Alexander J.H. Fraser on September 1, 1946 in Creston, Iowa and was a homemaker. She lived in the Mountain Home, Arkansas area since moving from Moline, Illinois in 1973. She enjoyed fishing, arts and crafts, and crossword puzzles. She was a member of the Methodist faith. Maxine M. Fraser passed away at Baxter Regional Medical Center on October 11, 2005, at the age of 90 years, 4 months and 4 days. Survivors: Three sons, Glenn (Larue) Fraser of Moline, Illinois, Gene (Gail) Fraser of Moline, Illinois, and Leroy Fraser of Mountain Home, Arkansas; one daughter, Carla Brewer of Salesville, Arkansas; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Davidson of Wisconsin; and several nieces and nephews Preceded in Death by: Her parents, husband, one grandson, two brothers, and one sister Visitation: 7:00-9:00 p.m., Thursday, October 13, 2005 Funeral: 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 14, 2005 at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel Burial: Roselawn Memorial Estate in Moline, Illinois Memorials: Nature Conservancy, 4245 North Fairfax Drive, Suite 100, Arlington, VA 22203
