She was born March 15, 1929 at Monkey Run, Arkansas to Don and Nova Messick Reed. She was an assembly worker at Baxter Lab and a lifetime resident of the area. Maxine enjoyed church and singing. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors: Maxine is survived by one daughter, Bonnie Baker of Cotter, AR; two sons, Larry Partee of Grove, Oklahoma and Matthew Partee of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one brother, Carl Reed of Columbus, Ohio; one sister, Avis Creasey of Whiteville, Arkansas; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents and one son. Visitation: Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. Funeral: Funeral services for Maxine Reed Partee of Gassville will be 10:00 AM Thursday, September 20, 2007 at the Whiteville Baptist Church with Reverend Mark Vance and Matthew Partee officiating. Burial: Burial will be in the Whiteville Cemetery. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Whiteville Baptist Church. Active Bearers: David Partee, Shawn Partee, Scott Vines, Allen Richter, Gerald Davis and Joseph Cruz as pallbearers.
