Mercedes Fikar was born December 17, 1916 in Cicero, Illinois to Max Scharle and Margaret Girlock Scharle. She married the Late Charles Fikar on December 16, 1935 in Cicero and was a Key Operator for Motorola for many years. Mercedes and Charles moved to Mountain Home in 1991 from Villa Park, Illinois. Survivors: Daughter- Karen Parashis of Mountain Home and a son, Charles J. Fikar III of Aurora, Colorado; 3 grandchildren, Joseph Thomas Mitsch, Wendy Fikar and Jeffrey Fikar and 4 great grandchildren, Jessica Rae Mitsch, Nicholas Fikar, Joshua Mitsch and Isabel Mitsch.
