Michael "Mike" Duncan passed away on May 30, 2024 peacefully in Mountain Home, Arkansas, after bravely battling a long illness. He was born on August 27, 1953, in the heart of Little Rock, Arkansas. In his success, Mike was the owner of various insurance companies, most recently, Greers Ferry Insurance Company. Mike found solace and joy in woodworking, a hobby that allowed him to showcase his creativity and meticulous attention to detail.
Mike's legacy is carried on by his surviving family members who meant the world to him. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Emily Duncan of Mountain Home, AR; son, Derrick Paul (Melissa) Duncan of Clinton, AR; grandchildren, Bailey Alexander Duncan and Braecyn Dee Duncan; brother Tommy Thompson; and step-son, Allen Fox and his children Jordan, Jarret, and Jolie Fox. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alton Sherman Duncan and Ruby Jewel Duncan; son, David Jason Duncan; as well as brothers, Leon Dell Sandvig and James Duncan. Their cherished moments together will forever be treasured.
Mike's impact on those around him was profound, leaving an indelible mark that will be remembered with love and respect. A Graveside Funeral Service for Mike will be 12:00 pm, Monday, June 3, 2024, at the Palestine Cemetery in Quitman, Arkansas, with Brother Sunny Williams officiating.
