Michael Gills died Tuesday, April 21, 2009 in Mountain Home at the age of 41. He was born Saturday, September 30, 1967 in Union City, Tennessee, the son of Bill H., Sr. and Loretta Gail Sloan Gills. He worked for Mountain Home Glass and also as a Pipeline Inspector for MBF Services. Michael lived in Mountain Home since 1968 moving from Union City, Tennessee. He loved to hunt, fish, go camping and water skiing. Survivors: Michael Gills is survived by his parents Billy H., Sr. and Loretta Gail Sloan Gills, brother, Billy H., Jr. (Louise) Gills of Mountain Home, AR, sister, Pamela (Nathias) Hall of Mountain Home, AR, 3 nieces, Danielle Hopper of Charolette, NC, Amanda (James) Blake of Mountain Home, AR and Shyanne McKiddy of Hot Springs, AR great-niece, Brooklyn Blake of Mountain Home, AR, special lifelong friends, Wade and Melony Britt, Jeff Powers, Jeff Douglas, Bryan Ray, Soloman Cornelius and his gift son, Chris Cornelius and his grandfather, James C. Sloan of Colorado Springs, Co. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Woodson and Dessie Gills, grandmother, Lucille Schumaker, 1 nephew Nicholas Cody Hopper and his friend Michael Gilbert. Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Bar None Cowboy Church, with Reverend Maurice Hitt and Mr. Danny Ponder officiating. Burial: Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M.
