Michael Huett

Michael S. Huett was born December 11, 1946, in Gassville, Arkansas. He was the son of Verlin and Eva Ruth Shrable Huett. He married Laura Mills, May 27, 1968, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He received his B.S. Degree from the University of Missouri-Rolla and his M.S. from the University of Arkansas. A civil engineer, he owned Mike Huett and Associates. Mr. Huett lived in this area all his life and enjoyed farming, hunting, biking, and jogging. He also enjoyed athletics, serving twenty years as official scorekeeper for Bomber basketball. His grandchildren were especially important to him. Michael S. Huett passed away at Hospice House, February 27, 2006, at the age of 59 years, 2 months and 16 days. Survivors: His wife of thirty-seven years, Laura Huett of Mountain Home, Arkansas; daughter, Cathy (Kevin) Beckham of Mountain Home, Arkansas; son, Chris (Kassie) Huett of Brighton, Illinois; four grandchildren, Nick and Nate Huett, and Grace and Will Beckham; father, Verlin Huett of Mountain Home, Arkansas; two sisters, Joann Hendon of Bandera, Texas, and Janis Blasdel of Mountain Home, Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews Preceded in Death by: His mother Visitation: 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel Funeral: A graveside services for Michael S.
