Michael Allen Jaeger of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away December 14, 2020, in Houston, Texas at the age of 57. He was born May 1, 1963, in Elmhurst, Illinois, the son of Leonard and Barbara (Sheedy) Jaeger. He married Sandy on February 14, 1986, in Mountain Home, and worked for BassCat Boats after working at Carter’s Jewel Chest. He was a member of the River Bible Church where he served as Elder. Mike was known for his witty sense of humor, his love of fishing and the outdoors, and his ability to avoid every commercial on TV. He was a good friend, possessed a sharp mind, and worked diligently and faithfully at whatever was before him. Mike loved playing and beating his family at board games. He grilled pork tenderloins to perfection and loved to share a good meal with others. He cared deeply and worked hard in supporting his family and his church, and Mike was a faithful follower of Jesus, the author and perfecter of his faith.
Michael is survived by his wife, Sandy Jaeger of Mountain Home, AR; daughters, Kelsey Stehr (Luke) and Amelia Updegrove (Wood); grandchildren, Evelyn and Lucy Stehr; his parents, Leonard and Barbara Jaeger; and siblings, John and Christine Jaeger.
A Memorial Service will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, December 19, 2020, at Oakland Pavilion on Bull Shoals Lake. Due to current restrictions, masks and social distancing are required. Dress warm and come as you are!
