Michael Phelps

Michael Phelps died Wednesday, November 5, 2008 in Mountain Home at the age of 52. He was born Saturday, December 31, 1955 in Long Beach, California, the son of Charles J.T. Phelps and Helen Jennings Phelps Singleton. He worked as a hospital transporter tech and lived in Mountain Home since 2002 moving from Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Survivors: Michael Phelps is survived by his mother, Helen Singleton of Mountain Home, AR and father, Charles J.T. Phelps of CA, sister, Susan Metcalf of Bull Shoals, AR, brother, Danny Phelps of Mountain Home, AR, 2 nephews and 2 nieces. Funeral: Graveside services for Michael Ted Phelps of Mountain Home, AR, will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 8, 2008 at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, with Reverend Larry Olson officiating. Burial: Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
