Michael Prohaska

A memorial service for Michael Vincent Prohaska of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be held at a later date. Michael passed away May 6, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 54. He was born January 25, 1959, in Park Forest, Illinois, the son of Frank and Carol Prohaska III. He married Debra Prohaska on July 5, 1985, at Mountain Home, Arkansas and worked for Ranger Boats. Michael lived in Mountain Home, since 1975, moving from Park Forest, Illinois. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars and working in his shop. Michael is survived by his wife, Debra Prohaska of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Emily Prohaska of Mountain Home, AR, grandchild, Sully Courtway of Mountain Home, AR; six brothers, Frank (Deb) Prohaska IV of Buckley, WA, Bill Prohaska of Matteson, IL, Tom (Jamie) Prohaska of Matteson, IL, Tim Prohaska of Lakeview, AR, Kirk (Cheryl) Prohaska of Oceanside, CA and David Prohaska of Clinton, AR; three sisters, Lynn (Jeff) Ludwig of Clinton, AR, Kim Prohaska of Fort Smith, AR and Pam Prohaska of Tinley Park, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Patrick and sister, Teresa. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
