Michol Claire Milawski

A Celebration of Life for Michol Claire Milawski of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 4:00 pm, Thursday, October 27, 2016, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. A Gathering of Family and Friends will immediately follow the Celebration of Life, from 4:30 pm until 7:00 pm, Thursday, at the Funeral Home.

Michol passed away October 20, 2016, in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 71 years. She was born May 29, 1945 at Monongahela, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Ellen Simcic Chenger. She married Dale Milawski on April 3, 1965, at Villa Park, Illinois, and was a kindergarten teacher's aide. Michol lived in Mountain Home since moving from Roselle, Illinois, in 1991. She was of Catholic Faith and enjoyed reading, gardening, teaching school, shopping, bowling, playing bunko, and going to the movies with her friends.

Michol is survived by her husband, Dale Milawski of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Michele Ann (Michael) Lodge of Phoenix, AZ; son, Craig William (Kathleen) Milawski of Las Vegas, NV; daughter, Megan Mary Milawski of Washington, DC; two grandchildren, Marissa Michol and Alana Kathleen Milawski; brother, Raymond (Blanch) Chenger of Myrtle Beach, SC; sister, Mary Ann (Charles) Hillman of Monongahela, PA; brother, Francis Chenger of Colleen, TX; many close friends, and her dog, "Bear".

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Patricia Chenger Hart; and brother, James Chenger.

Memorials may be made to the backpack program at the Mountain Home Schools.
