Mike Skow

A Funeral Ceremony for Mike Skow of Flippin, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 12, 2013, at Twin Lakes Baptist Church, with Dr. Sam Bailey officiating. Mike passed away January 7, 2013, in Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 65. He was born November 29, 1947, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the son of Donald and Agnes Schneider Skow. He married Betty Miller on May 9, 1970, at Ada, Minnesota and worked as an Insurance Consultant. Mike lived in Flippin, since 2010, moving from Richardson, Texas. He graduated from Morehead State University in 1971. He enjoyed working with his hands, fishing, being outdoors, rescuing animals and leading people to Christ. Mike is survived by his wife, Betty Skow of Flippin, AR; son, Matthew Skow of San Diego, CA; daughter, Missy Skow of Cotter, AR; mother, Agnes Skow of Mission, TX; brother, Wayne Skow of Moon, PA; two sisters, Barbara McEwen of Mesa, AZ and Lisa Severson of Superior, WI and four grandchildren, Tessa, Trey Michael, Taylor and Jaxon. He was preceded in death by his father. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, Arkansas, with Matthew Skow, Jon Hart, Kenneth Carlson, Brad Carlson, Terry Fitzgerald and Barry Troxclair as pallbearers. Wayne, Josh and Zach Skow will be honorary pallbearers. Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors, Salvation Army or Omochild.Org. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
