Mildred E. Dorsey was born on April 4, 1916 at Chicago, Illinois to George and Louise Nemitz Kruse. She married George Dorsey on June 22, 1940 at Chicago and worked as a Secretary for the Illinois Department of Education and was a housewife. They moved to Moutnain Home in 1977 from Arlington Heights, Illinois where she was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church and was active in the Ladies Guild and Cheer Club. She was also a member of the Mountain Home Extension Club. She passed away on July 19, 2004 at her residence at the age of 88 years, 3 months and 15 days. Survivors: Husband; George Dorsey of Mountain Home, Three Daughters; Eileen (Ben) Meyers of Albany New York, Jane (Gerald) Beer of Williamsburg, Virginia and Pat Hildebrand of Clarendon Hills, Illinois. Three Grandchildren; Stephen, Nicole, and Michael and a Great Grandson Nicholas. Funeral: Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday in the Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor Kenneth Taglauer offficiating. Burial: Entombment will be in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum.
