Morris Nicholls

Morris E. "Nick" Nicholls of Gassville, Arkansas, passed away Saturday April 10, 2010 at the Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, at the age of 85. He was born April 11, 1924 in Idaho. He married Bernice Graff Nicholls on November 27, 1993 in Mountain Home. Mr. Nicholls was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, and served as an aircraft mechanic on the carrier Shangra La. He also served as a mechanic with the Navy's Blue Angels team. He was a member and past President of the Eagles FOE in Midway, Arkansas.


Mr. Nicholls is survived by his wife Bernice Nicholls of Pflugerville, Texas, sons, Allen Nicholls and Scotty Nicholls of California, daughters, Penny Ludow of California, Paula Conway of Kansas City, Kansas, step son, Elton Maynard of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and step daughter Ginger Smith of Pflugerville, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Bobby and a sister, Naomi. Memorial donations may be made to the Eagles FOE in Midway, Arkansas .


A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
