Myrtle Lack was born March 13, 1923 at Charleston, West Virginia the daughter of Henry and Cora Lee Witt Wellman. She married Eugene Lack on June 20, 1946 at Old Buffalo, Arkansas and had resided in the Flippin area since moving from West Virginia in 1944. She was a teacher and a member of the Living Word Church. She died July 1, 2007 at Gassville Nursing Center at the age of 84 years, 3 months and 13 days. Survivors: Mrs. Lack is survived by her son, Larry (Patti) Lack, of Phoenix, AZ, 3 daughters: Shelby (Reverend Dave) Lunday, of Mountain Home, Shirley Lack, of Flippin, Cora Stevens, of Flippin, 3 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 4 brothers-in-law: A.G. Lack, of Flippin, Lonnie (Ruth) Lack, of Flippin, Jerry (JoAnn) Lack, of Flippin, Doyle Lack, of Greenbriar, and sister-in-law, Reba Parnell, of Norfork.
