Nancy Bergthold

Nancy Bergthold died Wednesday, September 10, 2008 in Mountain Home at the age of 65. Nancy Bergthold was born Saturday, June 5, 1943 in Ft. Madison, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Marcella Mail Grossenkemper. She worked as a Resort Manager and lived in Gamaliel since 1985 moving from Iowa. She loved camping, fishing and animals. She was the mainstay of "Critter Sitters". Survivors: Nancy Bergthold is survived by her mother, Marcella Grossenkemper, daughter, Debra Sue Snider of Masa, AZ, 3 grandchildren, Joseph, James and Jessica, 3 brothers and special friend Cindy Hayes of Gamaliel, AR. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her father, 1 sister and 1 brother. Funeral: Memorial services for Nancy Lee Bergthold of Gamaliel, Arkansas, will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, September 13, 2008 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Deacon Richard Linstad officiating. Burial: Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, Mountain Home, Arkansas. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the North Central Arkansas Humane Society.
