Nancy died January 4, 2009 at Twin Lakes Nursing Center. She was 76 years old. Nancy was born November 15, 1932 at Mt. Vernon, Illinois to Wayne and Martha Welch. She married Leslie Brumfield on July 17th, 1962 at Nashville, Tennessee. Nancy was a professional seamstress and worked at Village Vogue Dress Shop in Bull Shoals. She had lived in Flippin since 1970 after moving here from Tracy, California. Nancy loved her family and was the best Mother and Grandmother in the world. She lived to sew and you never heard her complain. Survivors: Nancy is survived by husband, Leslie Brumfield, of Flippin, one son, John Paul Brumfield(Diane) Flippin, Arkansas, four daughters, Becky Carson, Janet Rorie(Curtis), and Julie Tate(John), of Flippin, Arkansas and Cathy McDaniel of Bull Shoals, Arkansas one brother, Richard Welch of Bull Shoals, eleven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren with three more on the way. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Richard L. Hyland and one grandchild. Funeral: A Memorial Service for Nancy Lee Brumfield of Flippin, Arkansas will be held 1PM, Wednesday January 7, 2009 at Kirby and Family Funeral Home in Bull Shoals, Arkansas with Deacon Guy Franklin Swan officiating. Burial: Burial will be in Kirby Tucker Memorial Cemetery. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
