Memorial Services for Nancy Lee Cummings of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 5, 2011, at First Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Bill Henning officiating.
Nancy passed away December 30, 2011, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 75. She was born February 18, 1936, in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Don and Genevieve Ross Merriam McGuire. She married Robert Cummings, Jr. on July 27, 1963, at Detroit, MI and provided childcare in her home. Nancy lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since 1982, moving from Taylor, MI.
Nancy is survived by her son, Jody (Karren) Cummings, of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Bobbie (Brett) Leonard, of Mountain Home, AR; brother, James (Donna) McGuire, of Mt. Vernon, IL; sister, Donna (Bill) Mathiak, of Ypsilanti, MI; brother-in-law, Phil (Jane) Cummings, of Lansing, MI; and 2 grandchildren, Heath Cummings, of Cotter, AR and Amber Colvin, of Memphis, TN; a wonderful church family and neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Burial will be at a later date in Clear Lake Cemetery, Fenwick, MI.
Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, Humane Society of North Central Arkansas, or the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
