Nancy Hakeson

A Celebration of Life for Nancy Frances Hakenson of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 4, 2012, at First Baptist Church, with Pastor Robby Tingle officiating. Nancy passed away August 1, 2012, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 65. She was born September 18, 1946, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Leo and Prudence Schardt. She married Rand Hakenson on March 25, 1977, at Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Nancy lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since March of 2010, moving from Watertown, Wisconsin. She attended First Baptist Church. She enjoyed decorating cakes, loved her grandchildren and was also a caretaker to many. Nancy is survived by her husband, Rand Hakenson; three sons, Terry (Julie) Quandt of Watertown, WI, Anthony (Rebecca) Hakenson of Fort Atkinson, WI and Brandon (Toni) Hakenson of Mountain Home, AR; one brother, Ted (Judith) Schardt of Mt. Pleasant, SC; two sisters, Shirley Mueller of Rhinelander, WI and Sherry (Roger) Wigman of West Bend, WI and six grandchildren, Nicholas, Miles, Morgan, Lexi, Tyler and Tristen. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Bonnie Schardt. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House, 701 Burnett Drive, Mountain Home, AR 72653. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
