A Memorial Service for Nancy Carol Morris of Norfork, Arkansas, will be 11:00 am, Saturday, July 28, 2012, at Bethel Springs Mennonite Church, with Pastor Ed Morgan officiating.
Nancy passed away July 22, 2012, in Norfork, Arkansas at the age of 78. She was born July 19, 1934, in Waukegan, Illinois, the daughter of Victor and Alma Thomsen. She married Orville Morris on December 8, 1951, at Waukegan, Illinois and worked as a caregiver in a nursing home. Nancy lived in Norfork, Arkansas since 1995, moving from Rockford, Illinois. She enjoyed gardening, birds, and painting.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Orville Morris; son, Timothy Morris of Salesville, AR; seven daughters, Cynthia (Harry) King of Stillman Valley, IL, Deborah (Benny) Lamb of Pineville, AR, Sheila Morris of Calico Rock, AR, Kimberly Beaman of Rockford, IL, Scarlet Massingill of Elizabeth, AR, Wendy (Paul) Mills of Machesney Park, IL, and Tracy (Dennis) Berry of Viola, AR; one brother, Victor (Patricia) Thomsen of Mesquite, NV, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Victoria Morris, one brother, and three sisters.
Memorials may be made to the Bethel Springs Mennonite Church, 850 Sunnyland Road, Mountain View, AR 72533.
