Neal Ray Scott passed away July 7, 2018, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 82. He was born May 29, 1936, in West Plains, Missouri, the son of Leland and Jessie May Scott. Neal was a member of the National Guard for eight years. He married Betty Bolen on November 15, 1957, and worked as a truck driver. He enjoyed watching stock car races and traveling.
Neal is survived by his wife, Betty Scott of Mountain Home, AR; brother, Joe (Jula) Scott of West Plains, MO; two sisters-in-law, Connie (Harold) Moushon, and Naomi Shannon; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends, including Pete Sanders, Gary Smith, and Robert Whiteside.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kenneth Scott; two sisters, Suzie Martin and Jean Fine; and in-laws, Haud Everett, Delta Garber Bolen, Daniel Steel Bolen, JoAnn Stanford, Mary Del Chestnut, and Jack LeRoy Bolen.
Funeral Services and Entombment will be at a later date in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
