Neil Buesching died Monday, August 4, 2008 in Mountain Home at the age of 74. Neil Buesching was born Sunday, December 17, 1933 in Waukegan, Illinois, the son of R'Dell and Helgan Kugala Buesching. He married Anita Louise Freeman on June 18, 1955 at Waukegan, Illinois. Neil worked as an electrician and retired from Local #150 in Lake County, Illinois. Neil Buesching served 4 years in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War era. Neil moved to the McNaughton, Wisconsin area in 1971, then to Harshaw Wisconsin in 1990. He then moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas in 2005. He was a member of the American Legion in Wisconsin and the International Brotherhood of Electrical workers. He loved to fish and took great pride in his yard, the birds & wildlife. He built intricate wood models of boats and airplanes. Survivors: Neil Buesching is survived by his wife, Anita Louise Buesching of Mountain Home, AR, 1 son, Bill Buesching of Rhinelander, WI, 3 daughters, Jody Mullen of Gurnee, IL, Cheryl (Russ) Johnson of Rhinelander, WI and Karen (Buck) Eckert of Rhinelander, WI, 8 grandchildren, Scott (Jess), Curt and Brooke Johnson, Courtney, Grant, and Sam Mullen, Ben and Dan Eckert, 4 great-grandchildren, Logan, Kaiden, Lily, Matthew, and several cousins. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral: Private Memorial Services for Neil V. Buesching of Mountain Home, AR, will be at a later date on Spider Lake in McNaughton, Wisconsin. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
