Nelda passed away February 11, 2020, in Flippin, Arkansas at the age of 78. She was born November 6, 1941, in McKinney, Texas, the daughter of Slim and Mildred Stice Hays. Nelda worked as a seamstress and her last job was sewing Mardi Gras costumes in New Orleans. Nelda was an avid reader and loved to crochet.
Nelda is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Lindley of Peel, AR; son, Michel (Christie) Doughty of Red Oak, TX; grandchildren, Theresa Rogers of Peel, AR, Erika Doughty, Kayla Hays, Cory Tabbe, Courtney McIntyre and Kirby Doughty, brother, Jimmie Perry of Midlothian, TX and 15 great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, James "Bud" Hays and William Thomas Hardin; brother, Merv Perry and grandson, Colby Tabbe
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services - Summit, Arkansas.
