A Funeral Mass for Nina Badalamenti of Lakeview, Arkansas, will be 10:00 AM, Monday, July 9, 2012, at St. Peter The Fisherman Catholic Church, with Reverend Stan Swiderski, as celebrant. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Sunday, July 8, 2012, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with a Vigil Service at 7:00 PM.
Nina passed away July 6, 2012, in Lakeview, Arkansas at the age of 82. She was born March 29, 1930, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Russell and Margaret Hintz Zappia. She married Vito Badalamenti on September 23, 1950, at Chicago, Illinois and was a homemaker. Nina lived in Lakeview, Arkansas since 1992, moving from Prospect Heights, Illinois. She was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing, fishing, and going to Adoration.
Nina is survived by her husband, Vito Badalamenti, of Lakeview, AR; two sons, Michael Badalamenti of Mountain Home, AR, and Joseph (Trish) Badalamenti of Prospect Heights, IL; three grandsons, Russell, William, and John Badalamenti, all of Prospect Heights, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas, with Michael, Joseph, Russell, William, and John Badalamenti as pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
