A Celebration of Life for Nina Marie Benny Tipps Moore of Gassville, Arkansas, will be held later this spring.
Nina passed away January 17, 2014, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 88. She was born March 31, 1925, in Walnut, Kansas, the daughter of Ford and Clara Bundy Benny. She married Jack Dempsy Tipps in 1942. Nina was remarried in 1959 to Robert Moore and worked as a Electronic Supervisor for LSI. Nina lived in the twin lakes area since moving from California in 1985 and was a member of the Grace Baptist Church. Nina was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed fishing, farming, cooking, canning, and harvesting.
Nina is survived by her daughter, Jackie Collins of Magalia, CA; son, Barney (Donna) Tipps of Henderson, NV; daughter, Nancy Bell of Gassville, AR; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and brother, Robert (Betty) Benny of Magalia, CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; Robert O. Moore; brother, William Benny; and nephew, Roger Benny.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks or to the Shriners.
