Nola June Peterson, 95, of Gassville, Arkansas, died Friday, October 7, 2016 at the Gassville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Gassville, Arkansas.
June was born on August 28, 1921 in Blue Mound, Kansas, to Wesley W. and Cordia (Campbell) Forrester. She married Hubert Peterson of Emporia, Kansas, in March of 1967. He preceded her in death in 1999.
Survivors include; one son, Donald Duffey of Lakeview, AR; one grandson, Peter Duffey; and 5 great-grandchildren.
June is preceded in death by her parents and husband. June was the last of 9 brothers and sisters.
June worked for General Motors, had lived in Missouri, Texas, and Arkansas, and was of the Christian faith.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at the Hardin Cemetery in Hardin, Missouri.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
