Nora Coates

A Memorial Service for Nora B Coates, 82, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 10, 2011 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Randy Ludwig officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 4:00 pm Sunday, at the funeral home. She died Sunday, October 2, 2011 at Good Samaritan Village in Mountain Home. Nora was born November 23, 1928 in Dallas, TX, the daughter of Fred N and Eva Belle Wall Large. She was a Teacher for Mountain Home School District for 22 years. Nora lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since 1972 moving from Tustin, California. She was very dedicated to her church and religion. Nora is survived by one son, Timothy Lynn Coates of Auberry, CA; two daughters, Sally Jane Coates of Los Angeles, CA and Jennifer Beth Bogart of Longview, Washington; one sister, Mary English of Dallas, TX; 5 grandchildren, Deborah Sherman, Denny Foster, Becky Foster, Jonathan Foster, Leeman Hilton and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister. Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum. Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels. Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
