A Graveside Service for Norma Jean Arnold of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, October 21, 2014, at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 until 8:00 pm., Monday, October, 20, 2014 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home.
Norma passed away October 17, 2014, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 82. She was born March 14, 1932, in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Frank and Mamie Gazzard Guthland. She married John T. Arnold on March 8, 1952 at Affton, Missouri and was a homemaker. Norma lived in Mountain Home since 1988, moving from St. Louis, Missouri. She was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church and Elks Lodge #1714. She enjoyed bowling, traveling, especially to Jamaica, fishing camping and gardening.
Norma is survived by her three sons, Terry (Kristina) Arnold of Mountain Home, AR, Galen (Glenda) Arnold of Mountain Home, AR and Tim (Debi) Arnold of Bismarck, MO; daughter, Lisa (David) Tucker of Hillsboro, MO; grandchildren, Jim, Cindy, Nick, Nichole, Shane, Janice and Cameron; several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ed Coombs, Jerry Fouts, Nick Arnold, Jim Arnold, Shane Tucker and Cameron Sanders.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
