Norma passed away January 15, 2014, in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 59. She was born December 7, 1954, in Massachusetts, the daughter of Theodore and Rosalie Bernier Sarafin. She worked many years in banking before moving to Mountain Home. She married Bert Hart on January 6, 2001, at Clearwater, Florida. Norma has lived in Mountain Home since 2006, moving from Florida. She has worked as a Care Giver for Home Instead Health Care and also at Nima's Pizza. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and crossword puzzles.
Norma is survived by her husband, Bert Hart of Mountain Home, AR; son, Michael Applequist of Clearwater, FL; step-daughter, Cheryl-Ann (Jerry) Kelly of Taunton, MA; grandson, David Kelly; sister, Barbara (Bill) Moniz of Clearwater, FL; brother-in-law, John Michalski of Tallahassee, FL; and two sister-in-laws, LeAnn (Kerry) Carpenter of Waukesha, WI, and Kathleen (Alvin) Schneider of Wichita, KS.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Connie Michalski.
Memorials may be made to Humane Society of North Central Arkansas.
