Norma Jenkins

Norma Jenkins died Friday, April 10, 2009 in Granbury, Texas at the age of 81. She was born Thursday, January 26, 1928 in Syracyse, New York, the daughter of Arthur Lewis and Jeanette Roulston Schield. She married Harold Jenkins and worked as a cashier. Norma lived in the Mountain Home area from 1982 until 2008 when she moved to Granbury, Texas. Survivors: Norma Jenkins is survived by 2 daughters, Crystal (Ivan) Simpson of Granbury, TX and Cynthia (Robert) Biggs of Columbia, TN, 1 son, Bernard (Elly) Jenkins of Mountain Home, AR, 7 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 1 brother, Richard (Dana) Schield of CA, 3 sisters, Barbara Majors of Syracuse, NY, Ruth (Richard) Wales of Canton, OH and Dottie (Don) Wells of Auburn, NY. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 brother and 1 sister. Funeral: Memorial services for Norma Lou Jenkins of Mountain Home, AR, will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, May 4, 2009 at First Christian Church, with Reverend Ron Rector officiating. Burial: Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the American Lung Cancer Society.
