Norma J Watt of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away November 4, 2023, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 92. She was born September 27, 1931, in Anthon, Iowa, the daughter of Rowley and Vera Smith Fisher. She married Robert L. Watt on August 16, 1950 in Smithland, IA. Norma attended college in Nebraska and Iowa and began her career as a kindergarten teacher. She was an educator for 40 years. Norma was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed golfing, reading, crafts and her family.
Norma is survived by her son, Brian Watt of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Brenda (CW) Crandall of Flippin, AR; brother, Gary (Barb) Fisher of OK; sisters, Shirley Crawford, of IA and Marilyn (Dave) Ray of CA; step-grandchildren, Charlie Crandall and Becky Katakis and their children and grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one brother; one sister and a step great-granddaughter.
Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to Hospice of the Ozarks.
A Visitation will be Wednesday, November 8, 2023 from 5:30-7pm at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Mountain Home, AR. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City, IA.
