A Funeral Service for Norman Andrew Enquist of Flippin, Arkansas, will be 10:00 am, Monday, December 7, 2015, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Richard Gipson officiating. Visitation will be Monday, December 7, 2015, 9:00 am until time of service.
Norman passed away December 2, 2015, in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 69. He was born July 15, 1946, in Chicago, Illinois, the son Arthur and Carol Andrewson Enquist. He married Kathy Coplen on October 20, 1979, in Mountain Home and worked as a Finisher for Ranger Boats. Norman was a U.S. Army veteran in the Ranger Division in the Vietnam War. He lived in Flippin since 1972, moving from Chicago, Illinois. He enjoyed the ham radio, listening to music and watching sports.
Norman is survived by his wife, Kathy Enquist of Flippin, AR; daughter, Sabrina (Corey Bulthuis) Enquist of Romeoville, IL; son, Josh (Samantha) Enquist of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Kristin Enquist of Flippin, AR; and four grandchildren, September, Cayleb, Kacelynn, Sierra.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Dorothy Christ.
Military Honors will be provided by the Ozark V.F.W. Post # 3246 and the United States Army Honor Guards.
Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veteran's Association.
