Norman Earl Hilpert of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away December 12, 2020, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 86. He was born August 7, 1934, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, the son of Albert George and Myrtle Meyer Hilpert. Norman graduated with the first class at Rhema Bible Training College as an ordained minister and also received a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Concordia Lutheran Teacher's College, in River Forest, IL. Some of his fondest memories were from when he taught at the Wheeler Christian Academy, in Wheeler, TX. He married Martha Sue McKinney on April 9, 2005, in Broken Arrow, OK. He lived in Mountain Home since moving from Brownwood, TX, earlier in 2020.
Norman is survived by his wife, Martha Sue Hilpert of Mountain Home, AR; his children, Mary Ann Olson, of Tulsa, OK, Roger Hilpert, of March Field, CA, Nancy (Kevin) Conwell, of Tulsa, OK, Debbie (Jeffrey) Goulet, of Choctaw, OK, Richard Sims, of Brownwood, TX, Stevie (Ruth) Baldwin, of Brownwood, TX, Carl (Brenda) Baldwin, of Mountain Home, AR, James (Claudia) Baldwin, of Silver Springs, MD, 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren: Psalm 127, 4-5, "As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate."
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Alan and Weldon Hilpert and the mother of his children, Dorothy Drew Yates Hilpert.
A Celebration of Life for Norman will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, January 10, 2021, at the Rhema Bible Church, 1025 West Kenosha Street in Broken Arrow, OK.
