Norman Sellenriek

Norman "Bud" Sellenriek, 84 A Celebration of Life for Norman "Bud" Oliver Sellenriek of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Monday, March 18, 2013, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Marillyn Schultz officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the Alley-White American Legion Post #52 Honor Guard. Bud passed away March 15, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 84. He was born August 5, 1928, in Manchester, Missouri, the son of Henry and Julia Seibert Sellenriek. He married Louise Schuster on May 17, 1982, at Eureka Springs, Arkansas and worked as a Firefighter for the City of Kirkwood, Missouri. Bud was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. Bud lived in Mountain Home, since 2000, moving from St. Louis, Missouri. He was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed woodworking. Bud is survived by his wife, Louise Sellenriek of Mountain Home, AR; son, Brent (Margaret) Sellenriek and their daughter, Karen of Phoenix, AZ; step-daughter, Lisa (Neal) Scott and their children and granddaughter of Pacific, MO; and step-son, Robert (Cathy) Schuster of Arnold, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Iva Jean Hicks Sellenriek; and brother, Earl Sellenriek. Burial in St. Louis, Missouri.
