Norman R. Sipe, 78, of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, passed away on October 16, 2024, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Born on June 22, 1946, in Watertown, Minnesota, he was the son of Wallace and Agnes (Jones) Sipe. Norman proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and later built a successful career as a sales manager with Safeway Stores.
In 1997, Norman made Bull Shoals his home, where he embraced the beauty of the region and became known for his passion for gardening. He loved sharing the vibrant flowers from his garden with neighbors and friends, spreading joy and beauty in the community.
Norman is survived by his loving sister, Phyllis Egerter (George); his daughters, Jennifer Brooks (Jeffrey Todd) of Redmond, OR, and Amy Wilson (Randal) of Arp, TX; his son, Mathew Inman (Amy) of Beaver Creek, OH; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Allan Orsborn, Dale, David, and Curtis Sipe; his nephew, Scotty Sipe; and his niece, Kathryn Johnson.
A funeral service to honor Norman's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at the Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel in Bull Shoals, with Pastor Bill Hughes officiating. He will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Princeton, Minnesota.
