O. Frank Martin was born July 14, 1919, in Frierson, Louisiana. He was the son of Osbun and Sylvia Cole Martin. He married Beverley Canada on April 11, 1943, in Many, Louisiana. A retired United States Navy diver, Mr. Martin also worked as a Purchasing Supervisor for the State of California Social Services. He lived in this area since moving from Sacramento, California, in 1980. He enjoyed traveling in his R.V., pontooning, visiting with family, and working at his home. He spent three summers working at Yellowstone National Park with his wife. Mr. Martin was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Bull Shoals. O. Frank Martin passed away at Twin Lakes Nursing Home, March 15, 2006, at the age of 86 years, 8 months and 1 day. Survivors: Wife, Beverley Martin of Lakeview, Arkansas; daughter, Margaret Walker of Davie, Florida; son, Christopher Martin of Elk Grove, California; three granddaughters; one great-granddaughter; and two sisters, Dorothy Simmons of Haynesville, Louisiana, and Estelle Puckett of Bloomberg, Louisiana Preceded in Death by: His parents, two brothers and one grandson Visitation: 4:00-7:00 p.m., Monday, March 20 at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel in Bull Shoals Funeral: Funeral Services for O.
