Olive Linda Dornquast of Mountain Home, Arkansas, departed this life on December 29, 2024, at the age of 90. Born on July 16, 1934, in Owatonna, Minnesota, she was the beloved daughter of Everett and Lynda Stanoke Dornquast. Her early years were spent in Owatonna, where she was raised with love and care. Following the passing of her father, Olive and her mother moved to Weslaco, Texas, to be with her brother, Norman, who served his community as a pastor.
Throughout her life, Olive was a beacon of faith and creativity. She cherished her relationship with the Lord, exemplified by her daily readings of the Bible. Her passion for sharing God's word was beautifully expressed through her artistic talent, as she crafted colorful illustrations of Bible verses that touched the hearts of many. A true lover of music, Olive found joy in playing the piano and was captivated by the melodies of music boxes.
Olive’s home was filled with love for her feline companions, including her cherished cats, Bella and Tom, who were fortunate to receive her affection and care. Her infectious laughter and playful spirit brought joy to everyone around her, leaving a lasting impression on those who knew her. As a devoted writer, she sought to uplift others through her weekly letters, spreading warmth and cheer to her friends.
Though Olive is survived by many dear friends, she now joins her parents, Everett and Lynda Dornquast, and her brother, Norman E Dornquast, in eternal rest. Her absence will be deeply felt by all whose lives she touched.
